Is Jeff Buckley Tim Buckley's son? I have to go and research this because they sound eerily the same.
I was a huge Tim Buckley fan. Back in the late 70s/early 80s I played his music nonstop. We couldn't have a party without playing at least something by Tim.
Okay. later when I have some time I plan on investigating if there is a connection.

Yes, Tim Buckley was Jeff's dad. The above link is of Tim on The Monkees TV Show.
One can definitely see genes at work in their music. Tim was 28 y/o when he died of a heroin overdose and Jeff drown at the age of 30. So father and son are both on that list of extremely talented musicians dying a "way too early" tragic death.
