I know what you’re thinking. STOP! This reading challenge won’t mean any additional commitments, though. It works with what I’m already reading. It’s the 2011 Where Are You Reading Challenge.
Essentially, it works like this: after I finish reading a book, I mark its setting on a Google map.
Based on my reading so far, I suspect I’ll have a lot of dots clustered in England.
How much fun is that? Should be interesting to see if my reading is as focused on England as I think it is.
Here is my map so far:

Glad to have you in on the challenge – enjoy đ
Thanks for hosting it, Sheila. What a fun idea!
Hmm… I could totally copy you on this one too. Aren't little sisters fun!? *throws confetti*
Little sisters are totally fun!
Oh, wow … I made a note of this last month as "something else I should do," and forgot all about it. Thanks for the reminder! Right now my reading is all over the place–Canada, Israel, and Russia!
I'm afraid mine so far has been a little focused in one area—Britain, but I still think it will be interesting to see by the end of the year.
Time that you visited Britain, Dana.
I could show you round London.
It's past time! Unfortunately, it's not a trip I've been able to afford. đ
Isn't this the best challenge? I like how it provides another way to look at your books … and doesn't really require a lot of "effort" other than playing with the map.
I have 2 books from England already, which is unusual for me.
I like it that it really complements the other challenges. I already took on quite a lot, but I can't resist adding one that integrates technology.
